Sound description:

Before attempting to recreate such a project, make sure you have some space to experiment with wall clearances. But don't believe anyone who categorically rules out the use of open baffles in rooms under 100 square meters. In the worst case, you could take the woofer out of the crossover and operate it actively with a subwoofer module - this would mean that such a dipole could be used almost universally, but only by the way. In our listening room, with about 2 meters of air in the back, the Double Fifi teen produces an almost uncanny bass that comes out of nowhere as seamlessly as only an open chassis can. In any case, the area of ??the two fifteens is enough for us to create the perfect full-range experience. However, this is nothing for fans of trouser legs flapping, because the long-lasting bass of reflex or transmission line systems is simply missing. The mid-range is fairly neutral and, of course, also quite dynamic thanks to the large membrane - everything sounds a touch bigger than a monitor would make it. And the high-frequency range is then properly focused and very precise thanks to the horn, without being able to pinpoint a specific transition area. Open or dipole - a good speaker.
