Voight pipe
Voight Pipe- invented and patented by PGAH Voigt 1934.
A combination of TML and Horn. Whereby we emphasize the horn character in our constructions.
Our Voight Pipes are computer optimized and specialized in bass efficiency. So we come in part at 35 Hz with very small chassis.
This series consists to a large extent of broadband loudspeakers. Voight Pipe can also be found in multi-way speakers. Most of these are then called TQWT. It's still Voight Pipes, but with broken sound.
The advantage over bass reflex speakers is the lower tuning capability at higher sound pressure. Blue Planet Acoustic has developed a specific tuning method that allows a more controlled bass playback.
