A classic Voight Pipe.
Here with a 4 inch broadband that is tuned deeper in the pipe compared to a bass reflex box.
As is known, the Voight Pipe has the advantage that the membrane movements (compared to a BR construction) are lower. This leads to less distortion in the bass.
No speakers for a party, but the right decision when it comes to a cheap but high-quality music playback.
Such a speaker fits nicely into the living room.

Transparentes Klangbild, trockene, nicht aufdringliche Bässe
Die Boxen wurden aus MDF-Platten aufgebaut, wobei der Zusammenbau recht einfach ist. Nach einem ersten Test, der zur Zufriedenheit verlief, wurden die Boxen dann noch mit Apfelbaumfurnier furniert und erhielten ein Finish mit Hartwachsöl. Da die Boxen relativ hoch sind, aber nur über eine kleine Standfläche verfügen, ist es sinnvoll, die Boxen auf einen breiteren Sockel zu stellen, um ein Umfallen zu vermeiden. Für eine Raumgröße von etwa 25 qm passen die Boxen sowohl von den Dimensionen als auch von der Basswiedergabe.
