hearing test The MarkFlat is a full-fledged floor-standing loudspeaker and sounds like it: fundamentally deep basses with decent dynamics meet a balanced mid-range and finely dosed trebles, which can be adjusted between fresh and soft by angling the box. In addition, there is a decent dynamic, even in the bass range, which is a little less "punchy" than with a normal reflex box, but also looks a bit deeper and very balanced. The small problem area in the mid-range can be guessed at at very high volumes – but I have to honestly say that the overall volume itself is then too high, so all is well. The strength of the box is of course the phenomenal spatial imaging, which makes me a broadband fan again and again. Thomas Schmidt
