Nobody would have dared to give such a confident bass to the slender construct. Above the deep and well-structured bass foundation, a clear and vivid mid-tone range builds up. The positive impression is rounded off by a really decent high-resolution, of course not comparable with high-quality dome and ribbon tweeters, but free from any unpleasant hardness and yet with astonishingly fine detailing ... The Tang Band wideband has a relatively high quality, so that arithmetic larger housing or a slight bass boost as the CT 209 result. Mr. Timmermanns was notsatisfied - especially since there was already the CT 209 - so he considered the theory of the best use of the broadband, which is certainly a transmission line, where you need weak drives: Here he also plays well below its resonance frequency.

To straighten the frequency response, two small Helmholtz chambers were provided directly above the driver, otherwise the box consists only of the outer walls, since it consists of only one channel, which ends at the bottom.
