The power level is from 8 pcs. made of Russian 6CA7 tubes. These are similar to the EL34 tubes, but have higher power reserves and a much better sound. The dynamics are bigger and the sound is more precise and finer. The control of the power amp tubes also take over Russian tubes, in this case, the 6CG7. This type is similar to the 12AU7, however, the allowable output voltage of the 6CG7 is higher and it provides a higher output current. The preamp unit is also equipped with Russian tubes. 6922 types are used here. Compared to the otherwise frequently found in the preamp 12AX7 or ECC83 guaranteedthe 6922 used in the TAC V60 offers a particularly low-noise and linear amplification. The output transformers were made of 0.28mm thin special steel. Compared to conventional material with 0.35 mm thick sheet metal, an excellent transmission quality over the entire frequency spectrum is achieved in conjunction with the elaborately nested winding structure.

Thus, you can enjoy excellent highs, detailed mids and powerful bass. However, the innovation of the TAC V-60 is the automatic bias voltage and constant current control system. The disadvantages of previous bias control systems are consequently avoided: the operating point is absolutely stable under all circumstances. Neither the highest volumes nor abrupt changes of high and low tones bring the novel bias control out of the rest. This sovereignty pays off: the reproduction of the finest sound details, transparency and spaciousness combined with enormous power reserves are the great strengths of the TAC V60.

The power supply was awas designed as a MOSFET constant current source with combined voltage regulation. This means quick provision of the appropriate performance depending on music playback. This form of power supply is the prerequisite to reduce the noise level to extremely low levels, to reduce the degree of distortion and to provide a clear sound in any situation and desired volume.

The result is much clearer midrange and treble with powerful bass reproduction at the same time. In the V-60 only the best components were installed, for example WIMA capacitors, as well as SOLEN and MKP. The tube mounts are gold plated, just like the speaker terminals.
