An exclusive line of loudspeakers conceived and designed from experience and knowledge that the Ciare designers have acquired over many years of custom creations for the most famous world-wide producers of professional systems. One of the basic characteristics of this series of loudspeakers is high sensitivity, obtained by a skilful relation of the fundamental parameters, for example, between the force factor (Bxl) and moving mass. Indicative examples are the mid-woofer CM200ND (99 dB W/m) and the Chorus kit (102 dB W/m). High sensitivity is an indication of both, the facility in which high levels of pressure can be reached, even with limited power amplifiers, and also of the speaker’s dynamic capacity, of it’s velocity response to impulse especially in the release time, avoiding awkward “wave tail”. Sub Woofers have a major role in high sensitivity systems, as, besides medium to high sensitivity, they must also posses sufficient excursion and power capacity characteristics to move significant air volumes, which are necessary to balance the mid-woofer and tweeter. For the CIARE spl series, extremely specialised Sub Woofers have been developed. From single 4 ohm voice coils (CW330) capable of sustaining 1,5 kW, to double 2+2 ohm voice coils (CS330, CS393, CS450) up to the fantastic CSW4000, a 38 cm with four 4 ohm voice coils that can digest 4 kW burps. SPL competitors will most certainly have a head start… To ensure maximum efficiency in the management of the high currents which will pilot these systems, CIARE spl includes a series of supply cables AWG 1/0, AWG 2, AWG 4, Power condensers from 2, 1, 0,5 Farad and also various accessories to aid connections. In the CIARE spl series, the designers efforts were not simply limited to reaching high sensitivity but were also concentrated on acoustical characteristics, making exclusive membranes and surrounds capable of giving linear frequency responses with extremely contained harmonic distortions.
